On March 2nd 2010, BCTFD's new Engine 71 went into service mid afternoon. 15 minutes after going in service, Engine 71 was dispatched with Medic 72 to a car crash. BCTFD Staff were pleased with the Engine's performance and look forward to using it on upcoming runs. Photo's of the new Engine can be seen in our photo section under equipment. The new Engine 71 has since been in service as a front line truck out of Station 71. |

BCTFD is now offering an online room request feature. This will allow people in our area to reserve our Station 71 conference room, Station 71 community room, or Station 71 training room. There is also a calendar (click on calendar in the menu) which shows the dates the rooms are currently reserved for various events.
How it works: Once someone request use of a room an email is sent to a BCTFD staff member who reviews the request to ensure the requested date is available. The BCTFD staff member then places the reservation onto the calendar and notifies the requesting party that their reservation is confirmed. |

Today Buck Creek Township launches a new website. This site will allow us to keep our community updated on upcoming events, as well as make it easier for the community to request use of our community and training rooms.
In addition we will be able to better keep our members up to date as we progress. Please take a look around and let us know what you think. |
